HOW WE HANDLE THIS

Data, Cookies, Security and Your Account

Our approach to legal compliance is operational, not cosmetic — here is exactly how we handle each policy area that touches your account and your data on kheloyar.

Data Handling

We collect only the data required to operate your account and process transactions. Payment identifiers from UPI, Paytm, and PhonePe are stored in encrypted form and are never sold or shared with third parties outside our licensed payment processors.

Cookie Policy

We use functional cookies to keep your session active and analytics cookies to understand which parts of the platform you engage with most. You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through the cookie settings panel in your account.

Account Security

Each account is protected by multi-factor authentication and monitored for unusual login patterns. If we detect access from an unrecognised device, we pause the session and send a verification prompt to your registered mobile number before proceeding.

Retention Schedule

Transaction records, including all UPI and PhonePe payment logs, are retained for the period required under applicable Indian financial regulations. Once the retention period expires, records are deleted or irreversibly anonymised — not archived indefinitely.

Contact for Data Requests

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold on your account, or ask us to correct inaccurate records, by contacting our policy team via the legal email address listed in the support section above. We respond within seven working days.

Requesting Changes

To update your registered UPI handle, linked Paytm number, or any identity document on file, raise a change request through the account-settings section of your dashboard. Policy-level changes to terms are communicated by email before they take effect.

Frequently Asked Legal Questions

Below are the legal questions we receive most often about account conditions, data rights, and policy terms on the platform. If your question is not listed here, reach us through the legal email or policy chat queue.

Access depends on local law in your specific state or territory. Where local law permits, you may open and use an account. It is your responsibility to confirm that participation is lawful where you are located before registering.

We collect identity details you provide at registration, your linked payment method identifiers such as your UPI handle or Paytm number, device information, and session logs. This data is used solely to operate and secure your account.

Yes. Send a written data-access request to our legal email with your account ID. We will compile and deliver a structured copy of your stored personal data within seven working days of receiving your verified request.

We keep transaction records for the period required under applicable Indian financial regulations. After that retention period ends, the records are securely deleted or anonymised and are no longer accessible to our team or your account history.

Closing your account stops new data collection. Records required by law are retained for the mandated period and then permanently removed. Data not subject to a legal retention obligation is deleted within 30 days of account closure.

Submit a formal dispute through the dispute form in your account dashboard. Include the transaction date, reference number, and payment method used. We acknowledge every submission and aim to resolve payment disputes within seven working days.

No. Any material change to our terms is communicated to you by email to your registered address at least seven days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the account after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
